Original art by Koichiro Takagi. Takagi-san works are composed of wide-ranging expressions of embroidery. The cult-like symbol usage with fun and witty text-graphics create a feeling of “uncomfortableness”. We are huge fans of his art, so we worked together to design this three-bucks-bandanna. We have named it “Scherzo” because of its playful layout.  

Scherzo is a type of music that is played in a playful manner and it also happens to mean “joke” in Italian. We feel that this design suits this type of musical composition well. We try to play with bandannas much like musicians play with notes.
