Have you ever wondered what “enough” is? Maybe it’s crossed your mind, and probably something you don’t often think about. It often crosses my mind and it certainly influences every design we do here. Particularly this design as it is a new rendition of “Soiree”. We kept our main influence of buddhist art and luxury scarfs and gave the idea a few years of incarceration to ferment. What we have here then is “enough” but in this incarnation we will call it “good grapes”. Yurika has garnished this bandanna with lotus flowers, and Buddhist art references. Around the edge is a fine flemish of pearls. The color scheme is a reference to a very famous French fashion house that uses a very similar color scheme, what I have always named “Parisian McDonald”. I think that is enough…

「十分」って、何なんやろな？
考えたことある？ もしかしたら一回くらいは頭をよぎったことあるかもしれへんし、普段はあんまり意識せえへんことかもしれへん。

でもな、俺はよう考えるんや。それが、ここでやってるすべてのデザインに、確実に影響してるねん。
特にこのデザインはそうや。これは「Soiree（ソワレ）」の新しい解釈やからな。

仏教美術とラグジュアリーなスカーフっていう、元々の大きな影響はそのままに、そのアイデアを何年か“寝かせて”、じっくり発酵させたんや。
ほんで出来上がったんが、「十分」という考え方——今回はこの姿を「グッド・グレープス」って呼ぶことにした。

Yurika Shikai が、このバンダナに蓮の花と仏教美術のモチーフをあしらってくれてる。
縁のまわりには、真珠みたいな繊細な装飾がぐるっと入ってるんや。

配色はな、あのめっちゃ有名なフランスのファッションハウスへのオマージュで、よう似た色使いしてるんよ。
俺は昔から、それを勝手に「パリジャン・マクドナルド」って呼んでるけどな。

……まあ、そんなもんで十分やろ。
